Cisco is working on the bug for only the per-packet option. This has been seen on the 6-port CT3 cards only. The default, per-destination works as it should...i.e. load balance. And it works fine..Just make sure that the queueing option is set to FIFO, no ip route-cache, no ip mroute-cache, no ip route-cache distributed. on the serials. And route 4 defaults out via the outbound serial intfs.Hope this helps! If your running this implementation with an ISP, chances are they won't use a technology that has proved buggy: CEF. It will depend on your service provider. CEF has become much more stable in the latest IOS releases. Sprint uses CEF for load-balancing multiple T1s where the customer also has Cisco equipment. I don't know about other providers since I mainly deal with Sprint. Is there anyone else out there who can share their experiences with other ISPs?
