RE: half sized 19 racks?

2000-10-21 Thread Dennis Laganiere

I have an Anthrocart rack. About four feet high, with wheels and shelf for
stuff that needs to ride along. Kind of pricey, but definitely a high
cool-look quotient.

They have a 4"($119) ft rack... that might be what you're looking for.

Then again there's a 7"ft rack that goes for $139.

I am looking for a 19" equipment rack that is maybe half the size of a
normal rack or smaller.say 3-3.5'. This is for a home lab.
Maybe
something like those boxes musicians keep gear in, I don't know. If
anyone knows of a good source for this type of thing, please let me know,

 thanks,

 Brian

RE: half sized 19 racks?

2000-10-20 Thread Ole Drews Jensen

I don't have any, but you're right about the musicians boxes.

I went down to The Guitar Center a couple of weeks ago to figure out which
one should be my number eight :-) (maybe a C.F.Martin), and they have some
good 19" racks that can be used for routers, switches, etc, and the price
was much better than you would normaly pay for them. A small one with room
for 3 or 4 switches/routers was less than a $100.-

Look at www.guitarcenter.com for the store nearest you, or try other music
stores - maybe even ones with used instruments and gear.

Ole
