Re: Training [7:8551]

If you don't have a lot of experience with SNA, token ring, SRB, RSRB,
and DLSw, I would *highly* recommend taking SNAM from Skyline Computers.
I took that recently and it is one of the best classes I have ever
taken.

IMCR and MCNS would probably be good. Even though you've finished
CCNP, consider taking CIT to get some additional hands-on experience
with those tools and protocols. Perhaps a class in ATM would be good if
you haven't done much of that.

At minimum, take the SNAM class! You will not regret it, especially if
you're planning on moving on to CCIE.

John

I have a question for the group. I recently finished my CCNP and I am
on
the road to obtaining CCDP and eventually CCIE (routing & switching).
I
have been given the opportunity by my employer to take a Cisco class
to
prepare for either certification and wanted to see what class and
company
everyone would recommend.

So far i have found the following classes offered by global knowledge:

Cisco Internetwork Design
IMCR (Installation and Maintenance of Cisco Routers)
Managing Cisco Network Security (MCNS)

Thanks

Dale
