User mode commands

I am working for a small ISP, and manly deal with Bay routers, I have a
customer with a cisco router, staying in user mode what commands can I use
to do basic trouble shooting . any URLs or suggestions.

It depends on what you want to trouble shoot, I think it's best you visit
www.cisco.com it's got endless useful resources and tips depending on what
you are looking for.

if you type a "?" in user mode on a Cisco router, you will see all of the
possible commands.  when you see the command you need, type {command-name ?}
and you
will get a list of the next words needed... Do this until you have your
command line :-)
