There seem to be many changes going on in the various CCIE Tracks.
1. Routing and Switching - stable, some recent adjustments to the Lab test.
2. ISP Dial - going, going, gone by the end of the summer.
3. WAN - same as ISP Dial
(Elements of ISP Dial & WAN may be in SP (Service Provider)
track "soon to be announced")
4. SNA-IP - also gone by the end of the summer
5. Design - looks like it's in limbo right now, will it ever come back?
6. prospective Security track - Qualification exam beta ended 3 months ago
and no word yet if it will go production or when/if there will be a Security
Lab Exam available.
By my count, that's one going strong, three going away, one in limbo, and
perhaps two in the future.
Does anybody have any insight or info on the future of the program? Thanks.
