Also be aware that any traffic from that router , like ping responses etc, will probably have the interfaces primary address as the source address of any packets the router sends out. It will work, but to make it fast switch instead of process switch add this command to the interface: ip route-cache same-interface JOE CCNP, CCDP, and a few other things...
