switchport trunk problem [7:55664]

Whats new ?

Got a problem here that may need to go to TAC, hoiwever I thought I would
see if you had any idea's first.

Took delivery of my 4006 last week. Put on the latest rom and IOS relases
for the particular model of the supIII

I need to create a trunk link on ports gigabit ethernet 2/1 - 2/10

I use the following command on int 2/1 & 2/2

Interface gigabitethernet 2/1

Switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q

Switchport mode trunk

Now, this is where I get the error. I try it on another port on module 2.

Interface gigabitethernet 2/3

Switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q

%unrecognised command%

Got any ideas for me on that one ?

The 'actual' encap (trunk) is Gig, not .1q or ISL if I am correct
