I had a problem with two computers running Win2K and the default version of HyperTerm. Everything that went into scroll back became corrupted. Buffers were useless to scroll back and check configs because everything was garbled. Upgraded to HyperTerminal PE and the problem is resolved. That same thing happened to me when I changed to Windows Keys so I could use the keys to copy and paste text. When I did I noticed that I could no longer backspace (arrow up) in the router. Changing back reversed the problems I had. You might try toggling the setting??
