A great resource, thank you very much. I think WS-C3560X-24P or
WS-3560E-24TD with DC power supplies should do for my purposes.

If you are looking for PoE access switches, I believe the 3560-E and 
-X series might be worth looking at as there are some DC power options 
for that series.
