You don't need the LDAP integration for Single Inbox so that should work
fine.

I haven't had any luck even finding that in the database. Not sure where
it stores this info.

Re: [cisco-voip] UCCX Workforce Optimization

2016-06-20 Thread Anthony Holloway
Sorry, I don't know. I've only installed this product like maybe twice in
the last 10 years, with the most recent being like 5 years ago. It just
doesn't come up that often for me to maintain a skillset in it.

Re: [cisco-voip] UCCX Workforce Optimization

2016-06-20 Thread Andy
Anthony,
Thanks for the information and the explanation of the different pieces in WFO.
I have stepped through the documentation.
I have installed Server 2012 R2 with all the updates.
I have installed SQL Server Express 2012.
Created a user in SQL and set the permissions to dbcreator as the document
requires.
I have loaded the .iso image for Cisco_Quality_Management_10.5.1 in Virtual DVD.
Run setup_MonRec_1051.
When I get to the Database information and fill in the details for either the
ip address or hostname, it comes back with Connection refused: connect.

I can’t work out what’s going on…..

Is there a base server config that needs to be installed first.

Re: [cisco-voip] Move to new AD environment for CUCM and Unity Connection 9.1

2016-06-20 Thread Brian Meade
As soon as you delete the LDAP directory, it just marks all those users as
inactive. The users won't be deleted until the next 3:15am period that is
at least 24 hours later. If it finds a matching user ID in the new LDAP
directory, the users will automatically become active again when you do a
sync.

Worst case, you just re-add the original LDAP Directory configuration then
do a full sync to make all the users active again if you can't get the new
one to work.

[cisco-voip] Move to new AD environment for CUCM and Unity Connection 9.1

2016-06-20 Thread george.hendrix
Hey guys,

We currently have CUCM and Unity Connection 9.1 LDAP integrated to MS Domain
1 in forest 1. All users have user accounts pre-built in new MS Domain 2 in
forest 2. The users were all imported from the first domain/forest. There is
a trust between the forests. Since the end state will be in forest 2, I was
thinking we could just take this approach.

Disable LDAP integration.
Delete old LDAP directory integrations
Create LDAP integration with new AD domain.
Create new Exchange entry for new domain/forest for when users migrate
mailboxes.

Would this work? I noticed when I attempted to delete some NOW unused LDAP
directories in CUCM that it warns that any user imported in that directory will
be deleted. Does this mean when the user was first imported or if that was the
last directory used for the user? What if I point to the root, which contains
all the OU directories?

Regards,

Bill
