No sorry, I'm not very advanced on the CUACA product, therefore my
troubleshooting skills on it are low. The little bit I knew about the
DDIs, is from the admin/install guide.

RE: CTI Route Point Config

When you build the DDI for the queue, in CUACA Web Admin, you will have to
build one for each server, with different numbers, and CUACA, via AXL, will use
your CTI template to create both CTI Route Points and do the forwarding for
you. So, be sure to have the proper CSS for forwarding Unregistered and CTI
Failure for it to work properly. There's also a setting on the queue to send
cause to, when both are down, and CUACA sets that on the second CTI Route Point.

[cisco-voip] Windows AXL Query Tool

2018-03-27 Thread Pete Brown
[cid:8bc16a0d-4448-4067-aef0-fb4bf10e88a7]
For anyone who is interested, I wrote a quick and dirty Windows app for ad-hoc
AXL queries. I couldn't find anything readily available that didn't involve
scripting. It only supports SELECT statements at the moment.

It's been tested with 10.5 so far and probably has bugs which will trigger the
next apocalypse. Use at your own risk.

Usage Notes:

Adding a Profile - Right click under "Hosts" and Add Server. Validate then
Submit and it will automatically save a config file in the working directory.

Listing Tables - When you select a host, it will automatically grab a list of
tables.

Queries - Type in the query and execute. It will either display results or an
error code on the bottom.

You also don’t need to restart the TFTP service when regenerating TVS certs, in
fact it can cause problems depending on how quickly you pull the trigger and
how many phones you have.

As soon as you regenerate TVS on any node, all phones will reboot and ITL will

sure all phones re-register before moving on. Really only a huge issue if you
are doing the CallManager.pem at the same time.

TVS certs aren't in the CTL last I checked so you shouldn't need to regenerate
the CTL on mixed-mode clusters if just updating TVS/IPSec.

If I am using mixed mode ¿Do I have to regenerate the CTL file as well?

RE: CTI Route Point Config

When you build the DDI for the queue, in CUACA Web Admin, you will have to
build one for each server, with different numbers, and CUACA, via AXL, will
use your CTI template to create both CTI Route Points and do the forwarding
for you. So, be sure to have the proper CSS for forwarding Unregistered
and CTI Failure for it to work properly. There's also a setting on the
queue to send cause to, when both are down, and CUACA sets that on the
second CTI Route Point.

[cisco-voip] CUC and Exchange Online migration

2018-03-27 Thread James Andrewartha via cisco-voip
Hi voipers,

We're about to move all voicemail from Exchange 2013 on-prem to CUC, and
then migrate to Exchange Online. We have the Unified Messaging from CUC
to Exchange 2013 working fine, I found one post that said that things
will just work(tm) when we start moving users to Exchange Online, is
that correct or would I need to set up a separate Unified Messaging
Service for it?

Also is there an SQL query I can run in CUCM to determine which DNs have
a custom Voice Mail Profile set?

Thanks,
