I’ve reconfigured it all to use FQDN and re-configured my nodes. And I’m logged
in okay now and MRA is working.

I know I have done one MRA with IPs, back when MRA was new. You still need the
Cisco Uds srv record to be there and that record needs to be resolvable my the
C.

That old system isn’t using MRA right now, so I don’t know if it’s changed in
newer versions of expressway.

Check to make sure the Expressway-C has a reverse DNS record for the
Expressway-E’s IP address.

Also, upload your Logs to here: https://cway.cisco.com/csa/

CSA usually has good advice for MRA issues.

Thanks

never tried, but I wouldn't be surprised if FQDN is required. Are your
hosts discovered in the expressway core and showing as TCP Active? I'm
also assuming you have TLS verify mode off?

Re: [cisco-voip] jabber searching only user in AD but not local cucm database

2020-04-01 Thread Pawlowski, Adam
Hi,

Jabber is going to connect directly to an LDAP source unless you use UDS.

You'll have to create records in AD to match those sources, or go through the
fun of UDS (avatar hosting, make sure records from your source are right).

You can alternatively supply some other sort of custom lookup tab, contacts,
etc, but that is not really sustainable.

Best,

Re: [cisco-voip] RedSky SIP Trunk

2020-04-01 Thread Anthony Holloway
Oh, good to hear!

Yeah NAT and SIP doesn't work without an ALGwellsort of. You could
apply a Lua script to the SIP trunk to modify OUTBOUND INVITEs,
effectively doing your own SIP inspection, but then it would apply to all
CUCMs, and you'd need it to apply to only that one. Which you should be
able to do, but would require some reconfiguration of your SIP trunks, call
routing and callmanager groups.

Post back if you find a solution, or if you're still looking for help.
