Re: [cisco-voip] Bogen paging system with TAMB2 and 310 VG.
TAMB is not the right tool if you want zones. You need a zone controller, such as the PCM2000, not the TAMB. PCM2000 can connect to a FXO or FXS port on the vgw. -mn Original message From: Hamu Ebiso <hebiso2...@hotmail.com> Date:2017-06-12 19:19 (GMT-07:00) To: "Norton, Mike" <mikenor...@pwsd76.ab.ca>, cisco-voip@puck.nether.net Subject: Re: Bogen paging system with TAMB2 and 310 VG. Re: [cisco-voip] BOGEN PAGING SYSTEM.
If you're talking about using a 2900 series router versus something like a VG224, its essentially the same difference as far as technicalities go. I have one in my current environment running off an FXS port on our 4431 gateway, just have it configured via SCCP on CUCM.
