Re: [cisco-voip] Custom TFTP server to handle Jabber config?

2017-11-17 Thread Anthony Holloway
As far as I know that custom field is for you to specify a file name on
CUCM TFTP and not a separate TFTP server.

However, if your not on mobile, you can just place your configure file
locally on your computer and it takes precedence over the hosted one.

First google result for “Cisco Jabber User config XML” was:

Re: [cisco-voip] Custom TFTP server to handle Jabber config?

2017-11-15 Thread Daniel via cisco-voip

Hi Ariel,

During UDS cluster discovery, Jabber will know about the TFTP servers in
the cluster only, there is no way to use a TFTP server that is not part
of the cluster. The only non cluster servers Jabber can use are a photo
server or an update server.

Thanks,

Daniel

The documentation states that a custom TFTP server can be configured
for the device, using the Cisco Support Field, but I can´t find info
on what options or parameters can I put in there. The only example I
have is that you can put “configurationfile=” to get
from the tftp, but nothing else. Does it accept a full URL
as ?

[cisco-voip] Custom TFTP server to handle Jabber config?

2017-11-15 Thread ROZA, Ariel
Hi, All!

I am trying to test something in my own Jabber Client.
I can create a Host Configuration File, but I can´t use the corporate CUCM TFTP
server to load the file.
The documentation states that a custom TFTP server can be configured for the
device, using the Cisco Support Field, but I can´t find info on what options or
parameters can I put in there. The only example I have is that you can put
"configurationfile=" to get from the tftp, but nothing
else. Does it accept a full URL as ?

Regards,

Ariel.
