*-IMMEDIATE NEED A CONSULTANT- Job Title: QA (Automation Engineers with Selenium experience) Location: Boston, MA Duration: 6+ Month Contract* Primary Responsibilities: Design and development of an easily maintainable automation test framework with the open source framework Selenium, coding and executing automated test scripts using basic java Test external and internal systems, ensuring that users and quality requirements are satisfied to specifications. Work closely with Development, Quality Engineering, Product Management during the development, test, and launch stages of the software development and release cycle. Define test plans and test specifications for functional, unit, integration and performance testing, as well as the manual execution of test cases, and reporting product failures. Develop test frameworks in Selenium for UI regression test automation and when necessary, and potentially execute unit test automation (Java/JUnit) primarily for API/Web Services. Create and execute complex database queries (mysql) to validate database data integrity. Follow project milestones; design, implement, document, and execute tests; evaluate and communicate results; and investigate product features (including ad hoc testing). Work well both within a team and with little supervision. Provide comprehensive release assessments and quality sign-off.
