JOB SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE Strong client interfacing/communication skills both oral and written. 3-5 years of Database development experience Experience and demonstrated expertise in developing and maintaining complex ETL scripting to support large data volume movement Good UNIX and KORN shell scripting skills Understanding of an ETL tool such as Informatica, SAP PostalSoft Data Services or Abinitio a plus Data Warehousing experience a major plus Strong knowledge and experience operating within and supporting data processing solutions that utilize Oracle RDBMS Strong PLSQL skills and knowledge Knowledge and expertise with the following: Oracle/ PLSQL/ UNIX/Perl Data modeling experience a plus BI experience a plus (BO, Cognos, Microstrategy) Experience processing sensitive data including HIPPA or FCRA information Knowledge of credit data a plus Excellent time management skills Strong self-initiative and ability to multi-task. Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently. Continuous self-directed learning Strong self-initiative and ability to multi-task Windows, UNIX and Linux exposure/experience Excellent planning and time management skills Commitment to quality highlighted by strong auditing capability Results driven, client first attitude Excellent SQL or Oracle PL SQL knowledge and ability to code complex queries against a marketing database Excellent knowledge and experience in working with one-to-many and many-to-many relationships within a database structure to delivery marketing campaigns. Excellent organizational skills with ability to operate on a wide range of topics and projects at one time - must be able to work in a team environment with players form many different organizations - superior attention to details - Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database software.
