We are currently working on filling an exciting new contract opportunity for an *Tibco Spotfire Developer *position that will be based out in *NYC, NY*. *Job Title: Tibco Spotfire Developer* *Location: NYC, NY* *Duration: 2 Months POC followed by long term Project* This project involves a two stage engagement for a large international banking client. We have been engaged to assist the bank with the development of a tactical proof of concept (“POC”) that will bring key client data together. The client recently began a strategic, multi-year initiative to develop a consolidated view of customer information for sales and trading staff. Utilizing a centralized raw data store as the source, the POC will provide greater visibility and transparency to business process and data capture issues that can lead to their identification and resolution and, ultimately, accelerate the delivery of business benefits from the strategic solution. The key deliverable of the project is a functional POC. The client will lead the development effort and will assume overall management and decision-making for the project. Client will provide two consultants that will have the required data analysis and development skills to assist with the completion of the POC. The POC project will be have a fixed-duration of 6 weeks to complete, and will be followed by a larger implementation stage. The data analyst/developers sill have the necessary data analysis, mapping, development and visualization skills to complete the POC. The POC will be developed utilizing SQL, Netezza and Spotfire. *Key Responsibilities: * · Work as integral member of cross-functional teams to gather and document requirements to meet program needs, · Design, develop and test Spotfire reports and dashboards that utilize underlying data warehouse and import files, · Prepare documentation and ensure timely completion of assigned work, · Ensure proper configuration management and change controls are implemented. *Required Skills:* · 5-7 years’ experience developing and implementing reports and dashboards · 2+ years of Tibco Spotfire experience · Knowledge of data modeling concepts · Banking experience is preferred · Experience with multiple interactive reporting tools is preferred · Strong communication skills · Strong technical design skills · Ability to handle teams working in multiple sites (onsite, offshore, near shore) Regards, Sonoma Consulting, Inc.
