*Location : river woods, IL* *Duration : 6* *months* Description - The Senior/Career level conducts a wide range of quality-control tests and analyses with full competency to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements. - Executes more complex tests according to established plans and scripts, documents problems in an issue log, and retests software corrections to ensure problems are resolved. - Creates test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow. - Drafts and revises more complex test plans and scripts. - Identifies, recommends and implements changes to enhance the effectiveness of quality assurance strategies. - May coordinate activities of the project team and assist in monitoring project schedules and costs. - Position usually requires four to five years of related experience. Details - CSTE- Certified Software tester preferred but not required - 3+ years experience developing unit test scripts, test cases, and executing unit test case scenarios essential - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field of study OR in lieu of a degree - Experience with regression testing- required - Experience with automated testing creation Work with the Client’s resource in person at Riverwoods location for 1-2 weeks.
