*Position: IT Business Analyst* *Location: Coral Gables, FL* *Duration: 6 months plus* The IT Business Analyst role is a critical component in the launch and management of cutting edge client facing digital media solutions. As part of the digital media team, the Business Analyst will drive change in the distribution of media though the creation of “first of its kind” technologies. The primary functions of the role will include needs analysis, requirements gathering, documentation of the processes, communication with stakeholders and interacting with vendors and internal technical teams. *•5+ years of experience in a product development organization •5+ years in a IT Business Analyst (BA) role •4+ years’ experience in a company operating in either broadcast, gaming, mobile application development, or media industry •3+ years participation in Quality Assurance (QA) in software development project**.* *Core Responsibilities* 1. Contribute as team member in enhancing our products and other Digital Media technologies. 2. Work closely with business Product Managers to come up with innovative ways to provide enhancements to consumer technology. 3. Elicit, analyze and document business, technical, functional requirements. 4. Capture current state and define future state: flow diagrams, context diagrams, data definitions. 5. Provide guidance, training and support to end-users. 6. Work closely with quality assurance teams; as needed provide test execution, capture track defects. 7. Develop and maintain system documentation, test plans and test scripts or test cases. 8. Define requirements by working closely with other business units: Sales, Product, Marketing, Networks, Programming, Affiliate Sales, Affiliate Support, Technology & Operations, and IT. 9. Interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders to facilitate defining requirements, identifying open gaps and closing out open questions. 10. Create visual screen mock-ups and wire-frames. 11. Express requirements in a simplified fashion to non-technical stakeholders and senior management. 12. Leverage a breath of tools to clearly and unambiguously define scope and requirements. 13. Perform market research to understand potential technology solutions and vendors. 14. Create RFP/RFI documents. Analyze responses. 15. Perform cost analysis and risks/benefits analysis. 16. Must have a “no job is too small” attitude. Has an innate drive to go above and beyond. Driven to provide results.
