He/she will report to the Manager of Data Integration. Listed below are duties, responsibilities, education, and other skills needed to be seriously considered for this position. * * * *Essential Duties and Responsibilities * * Assist with the architecture and development of logical and physical data models. * * Analyze source system data for loading into a Reporting Database or a Data Warehouse. * * Assist in the specification and documentation of ETL requirements. * * Coordinate with DBA, Software developers, and Data Integration teams to meet objectives and deadlines. * * Analyze and recommend solutions to source system changes as they impact data integration efforts. * * Assist in the publication and availability of enterprise meta-data. * * Perform impact analysis on data integration and reporting platforms when source system changes occur. * * Assist with the creation of data modeling standards and administration of a meta-data repository. * * Document data migration mappings and transformations for data warehouse loading. * * Assist in planning, documenting and coordinating the exchange of data with third party vendors. * * Stay abreast of industry/company activities via seminar, training classes, industry publications, etc. * * Other duties as assigned. * * * *Education/Skills* * BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or MIS is preferred. * * Consultative background that spans across several different industries. * * Experience using data modeling tools such as Erwin Model Manager, Visio, or others. * * 5+ years of data modeling and analysis, in addition to data integration across enterprise systems. * * 5+ years experience of hands-on development with SQL Server 2005-2008. * * 3+ years of Microsoft Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS). * * Strong knowledge of RDBMS concepts, bulk data loading APIs, and database client protocols. * * Strong knowledge of data analysis, data transformation, conceptual data modeling, and meta-data management. * * Experience with OLAP systems is a huge plus. * * Understanding of reporting concepts and experience with enterprise reporting platforms such as SSRS, Crystal Reports, MicroStrategy, Cognos, etc. is a huge plus. * * Self-motivated with the ability to make solid technical / business decisions with minimal managerial direction. * * Multi-task effectively across several different development projects.* * * *Regards **....**?*** *Amer Ahmed* *IT Recruiter* *OSAIR Technologies LLC Voice : **609-632-0277** **a...@osairtech.com* <moh...@osairtech.com>* * * * * * * * -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Citrix and Sap problems" group.
