I'd say we need candidates with more experience, the candidate that had recommended has 8 years’ experience. * * * Java XSLT Developer Location: Chicago, IL Length: 6+ months Start: ASAP STILL VERY HOT POSITION Our Client is looking for a Sr. Java/XSLT Consultant to enhance the existing application team. This person will develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test software applications. These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools. He/she will participate in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. You will serve as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource. Supporting vendor package and Java J2EE apps, deploying these components to test and production environments and troubleshooting of environments are some common day to day duties. Additional duties include code management, build automation and some Oracle SQL work modifying data. *General Skill sets: * · 5-7 years of Java/J2EE application development and support experience · Must have excellent software design and documentation skills · Must be able to handle multiple tasks and adapt to a constantly changing environment · Ability to debug applications · Excellent communication skills · Excellent team skills and interpersonal skills. · Experience with the development models and software development lifecycle (SDLC) model *Specific Technical Skills: * ·4+ years of Strong experience using XSLT for transformations · 5-7 years of experience with Java/J2ee (1.4 version or later, prefer 1.5 version). · 2-3 years of experience with Spring (Spring MVC, Spring Core, AOP functionality, JavaBeans, Spring Web Services etc) · 2-3 years of strong experience with an OR mapping solutions , preferably Hibernate ·Strong SQL experience ( queries, DML and DDL) Thanks Regards, HARRY WILSON | IT Technical Recruiter *CAT Technology Inc.
