*Very Urgent Requirment Need a Local Consultant Immediatley Sure Shot Placement !* Job Title : *Java Developer with WSAD* Location : Farmington Hills, MI Duration : 6 Month Contract *Job Description:* PURPOSE OF POSITION: Architect, design, construct, maintain, and support company's commercial software and back-office applications. *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:* 1. Responsible for software application feature(s) 2. Design, document and author new application components and utilities of moderate to complex scope 3. Maintain and modify existing application code 4. Triage and correct problems with development, test and production systems 5. Assist with the review and estimation of effort and duration for features, change requests, or defects 6. Provide full-scale solutions starting from business requirements to the final application components 7. Mentor and lead junior developers in their technical growth and education 8. Perform all work in accordance with company’s quality programs, standards and procedures 9. Maintain safety, security, and privacy standards throughout all areas of responsibility. *ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:* 1. 5-10 years experience as a software developer and designer or architect 2. Proficiency in J2EE 1.3.x/1.4.x/1.5.x, JSP, EJB, Struts, XML development 3. Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, DHTML and XHTML required 4. Knowledge of SQL and O-R mapping tools (Hibernate) required, PL/SQL knowledge preferred. 5. Java or Web component developer certification useful 6. Experience using UML standard design artifacts such as class models and sequence diagrams 7. Experience with J2EE patterns, development best practices, and iterative methodologies (RUP, XP, FDD) 8. Able to work independently on routine assignments, such as maintaining and modifying existing application programs. 9. WebSphere 5.x or 6.x or 7.x Application Server Experience 10. Experience with WebSphere Studio Application Developer (WSAD), Eclipse and/or other Java and web development tools including CVS, Jprobe, TOAD, DBVisuzalizer, MagicDraw, Fiddler, etc. 11. Experience troubleshooting and resolving application defects 12. Experience with AJAX, JSTL and/or Display Tag 13. Exposure to MQSeries and/or MDB messaging desirable *OTHER REQUIREMENTS:* 1. B.S. in Computer Sciences or related field 2. Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills 3. Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision 4. Must have the willingness to take initiative 5. Must be detail-oriented and process focused 6. Must be a self-starter 7. Must be articulate and have excellent written and oral communication skills 8. Must be results-driven and willing to apply additional effort when required to meet commitments 9. Must be effective in prioritizing tasks and responsibilities 10. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, demanding environment with competing demands 11. Experience in performance tuning J2EE applications a plus 12.
