Database administration includes software installation/configuration/testing, application design and review, database design review/enhancement, database migration, and data security Knowledge of technical design, development, connectivity, implementation, and administration of the database associated with Internet/Intranet Web applications Creation of flow diagrams to demonstrate data origination and data flow between applications Creation of Data Dictionaries and assist in metadata management Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent documentation writing skills Strong OO background supporting J2EE, JSP, Eclipse, JAM, JDBC Jscript Experience supporting .NET Development including SOAP, .NET , MS SQL Strong SDLC Methodology (Agile, Waterfall, RAD, Hybrid) experience including document generation, reporting and metrics in a matrix environment Rational Team Concert (RTC) or other Application Lifecycle Management tool. Experience with Linux, UNIX and MS platform development, management and administration Exposure to Automated Application Monitoring tools ie Tivoli Extensive experience developing work estimates for assigned database administration and modeling tasks Proven interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills Experience developing project plans, schedules, and estimates -MS Project /Office Visio proficient.
