*POSITION SUMMARY*
The candidate must have experience with developing custom SharePoint
applications, SharePoint Designer, SharePoint Object Model, InfoPath
Designer 2010/2013, SharePoint custom workflows, Web Part development,
Central Administration, Data views, SharePoint 2010/2013 Server; and most
SharePoint services such as Search scopes, Audience targeting, Tag clouds,
Sandbox solutions, Dashboards, blogs, Lists (normalized), analytics,
managed metadata, etc.

- Designing and developing SharePoint solutions, which may include,
applications, web parts, features, content types, and other SharePoint
constructs, by using Microsoft Visual Studio for deployment on SharePoint
Server 2010 (support of SharePoint Server 2013 is forthcoming, and
knowledge of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 is preferred).
- Designing and developing custom site and web templates, and site
definitions.
- Design and implement SharePoint lists, libraries, custom forms, and data
roll-ups beyond out-of-the-box capabilities.
- Integrate with other data sources, applications, knowledge management
systems, and line of business (by using Business Connectivity Services).

*Experience with Migrating SharePoint 2007 to SharePoint 2010 and also to
SharePoint 2013 *- Integrate SharePoint reporting functions with third part
reporting solutions (e.g. Business Objects, Crystal Reports, SQL Server
Reporting Services).
- Provide technical expertise on SharePoint, specifically collaboration
trends, updates to the underlying technologies and product direction.
- Examine customer needs and propose solutions that deliver high levels of
customer satisfaction.
- Communicate, both in writing and in person, with a variety of audiences,
including team members, management, and stakeholders, regarding design
approach and issues.
- Maintain and prioritize high levels of quality while multitasking.
- Remain flexible to work in a dynamic team as well as individually.
- .NET experience is preferred

   Develop software solutions for safety applications through periodic
   software releases utilizing Microsoft technologies such as SharePoint, .Net
   Framework and Reporting Services.
   -

   Perform data analysis, develop relational data models and develop
   on-screen and system reports.
   -

   Design and develop Safety Dashboard software.
   -

   Develop software design document of periodic software releases.
   -

   Participate in planning and estimating sessions.
   -

   Conduct Unit and Regression testing of developed work.



*Candidates must possess the following qualifications:*



   -

   *Experience developing Safety applications in transportation industry is
   highly preferred.*
   -

   *Development experience in MS SharePoint 2010*.
   -

   Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
   -

   Demonstrated thorough understanding of object oriented programming.
   -

   *Experience in .NET software development with Microsoft technologies
   using C#, .NET Framework and java scripting.*
   -

   Knowledge of installation of SharePoint server and creating and managing
   site-collections.
   -

   Ability to customize web parts using MS Visual Studio and Windows
   SharePoint services.
   -

   Ability to create Web pages utilizing ASPX and publishing web pages.
   -

   Thorough understanding of out-of-the-box SharePoint features.
   -

   Thorough understanding of creating customized complex flows.
   -

   Thorough understanding of site content types and site columns.
   -

   Ability to create and manage groups and site permissions.
   -

   Ability to create and manage lists and calendars.
   -

   Expertise in handling master pages.
   -

   Knowledge of MS SQL Server, SSAS and SSRS.
   -

   Thorough knowledge of using the software code repository, Team
   Foundation Suite.
   -

Proven track record of providing production support.
