Ensure the coverage of test cases and user identified scenarios.  Document
and reveal potential problems, identify and log software defects and verify
defects resolution

• Ability to create test cases for applications in a SOA environment.

• Ability to thoroughly test the web applications (server & client side) on
a standalone basis.

• Ability to perform data validation & data integrity testing on DB.

• Take part in discussion, review and analysis of requirements

• Design tests effectively, ensure the coverage of test cases and user
identified scenarios.

• Execute test cases, both manual and automated

• Reveal and document and reveal potential problems, identify and log
software defects in bug tracking system,and verify defects resolution

• Monitor and report on testing status throughout the project



*Additional Responsibilities:*

• Ensure the effective fulfillment of objectives and deadlines assigned to
the group

• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all
unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources

• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company
goals



QUALIFICATIONS An individual must be able to fulfil each essential duty
satisfactorily to perform this job successfully. The requirements listed
below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.



*EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE*

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (Master’s degree
preferred), related degree, or equivalent experience

• 3 + years in web software testing

• Deep understanding of the role of QA in SDLC, testing processes and
methodologies

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC

• Knowledge of test design techniques

• Experience in test planning, test cases creation, execution and monitoring

• Strong attention to detail

• Proven ability to learn quickly

*• Mule Server Experience*

*• Experience with SAP integration with Manufacturing Systems or
Provisioning systems.*

• Interfaces with other  Automated equipment levering Files, direct
Interfaces, PLC,  OPC, OPCAUA

• Skills to do initial/preliminary troubleshooting/diagnoses and document
and work with the Dev team for their resolution.

• Must have a great attitude, have excellent oral/, written and
interpersonal communication and great interpersonal and teamwork skills

• Working experience of Agile methodology.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Experience  working with at least one Test Management tool (preferrably,
HP Quality Center)

• Experience working with at least one Bug Tracking tool (preferably, Jira)

• Strong knowledge of SQL

*• Test automation skills using QTP or Selenium (Selenium preferred)*

• Familiarity with Python

• Experience with Continuous Integration

• Experience working with off shore teams
