Market rates apply* * * *Must be local to California* ** *Required Skills* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience. - Strong Working Knowledge of IBM DataStage and QualityStage version 8.0 or 7.5 - Development of Jobs with a broad knowledge of key stages - Understanding of complex textual transformations - Ability to join data where simple key linkage is not possible - Experience with SAP adapter pack - Experience analyzing data sources using Information Analyzer - In-depth knowledge of SAP data structures, iDocs, & BAPI - Working knowledge of SQL and Shell Scripting required. - Experience with source/version control solutions and automated deployment tools preferred. - Understanding of Relational and Dimensional database structures - Ability to work closely with business partners to determine data requirements - Ability to perform as a major programming and analysis resource on a project team. - Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proficient with standard office software applications. - Ability to provide on-call production support as needed. § In-depth knowledge of workstation, network and telecommunications principles *Contract Length* 4 months *Location* Rancho Cordova, CA Description * * With minimal direction, formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to architect and build a data warehouse solution, data conversion loading to SAP, and a Master Data Management solution. Prepare project design documentation from which new application systems will be developed. Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Design, code, test, debug and document those programs. Provide support to business partners in their information needs. May act as mentor and/or technical resource to other team members. * * Design and construct data conversion approaches. Develop logical models of data and processes. Generate and execute test plans for lifecycle stages. Construct the implementation plan. Interact and effectively communicate with business partners and other IT staff. Act as an information resource by providing assistance, direction and support to team members. Provide status reports for assigned projects and document change requests.
