Overview: Under limited supervision, designs, develops, modifies, debugs and evaluates programs for functional and operational areas. Functions as an active team member to implement and support various developments, design and analysis initiatives employing prescribed methodologies, and follows the AMERIGROUP Quality Assurance process in the creation of work products. Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications programming activities. Required: *Requires a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience. Specific Technical Skills Experience with T-SQL & PL/SQL Experience with Informatica Powercenter Experience with DTS and SSIS* Demonstrates understanding of the inter-relationship among various IT applications and systems. Demonstrates advanced proficiency with all applicable company supported software applications. Able to develop and manage a project with direction and supervision. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of infrastructure associated with supported applications. Understands the strategic alignment of IT solutions with business objectives. Understands impact of data modeling decisions on system performance and resource usage. Demonstrates knowledge of current and evolving application architecture trends to include infrastructure, software, database, networks and their interdependencies.
