This will entail working on Hadoop and related technologies. · Work with data scientist on Big Data to create predictive and prescriptive analytic solutions. · Mentor junior engineers. Use best practices in software development · Excellent communication skills and collaborative spirit. Desired Skills and Expertise · High proficiency in software development , specifically in the Java and Python languages. (at least 3-5 years of experience) · Have excellent trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills. · Knowledge of parallel algorithms and high-througput systems. · Good knowledge on build tools preferably Maven/Ant. Experience with database and ETL highly desirable. · Broad knowledge of relational OO and database design Familiarity with web-based product development. · Excellent leadership, team handling and client interfacing skills.
