POSITION: OBIEE DEVELOPER
LOCATION : ROANOKE/VA
CLIENT: Advance Auto Parts
They need a contractor to join their team for a period of three months with
possible extension.
Experience with OBI 10g is a must (11g preferred).
Requirements:· 5 - 7 years of experience as a Developer in a Business
Intelligence/Data Warehouse environment using an Oracle Database Platform·
Advanced experience with developing Reports Dashboards using OBIEE
Analysis and Interactive dashboards.
Experience with Installing and configuring OBIEE 10g or 11g is highly
desired· Must have experience in configuring OBIEE security (Authentication
and Authorization
Object level and Data level security)
Displays effective analytical and problem solving skills· Strong
analytical and problem-solving skill·
Excellent communication skillsResponsibilities Include:· Participate in
the development of technical design document for various stages of the
OBIEE Analytics Development Process·
Understand and analyze BI Analytics requirement documents· Develop RPD
models on OBIEE using a dimensional approach with appropriate layers of
base Facts/Dimension, snapshots and aggregates· Create dashboards/Reports
on OBIEE 11g environment based on requirements· Perform data analysis and
support existing user base· Configures BI Applications, leads, designs,
builds, and tests the recommended solution· Assists the team with all
aspects of implementation ·
Strong knowledge of Data Warehouse design concepts to include Dimensional
Data modeling· Experience with OBI versions 10g is required, 11g is
preferred· Experience using OBIEE Analytics (pre-built or custom) is
required, including experience developing reports, metadata repository and
presentation components·
Administer the Physical Layer, Business Model and Mapping Layer and
Presentation Layer in BI Repository (.rpd) using Oracle BI Administration
Tool· Develop Reports/Dashboards with different BI Views (Pivot Table,
Chart, View Selector, and Column Selector, with global local Filters using
Oracle Bl Analytics Web· Create Users, Groups and giving the permissions in
OBIEE Administration Tool and verifying the Permissions of the users in
OBIEE web· Perform tuning of Dashboards/Reports by aggregate navigation,
and cache management· Responsible for unit testing, integration testing of
the reports generated using BI analytics
