Role: Systems Admin Location : Jersey City Duration: 16 Week(s) Purpose: Unix Administrator Job Description : Ø Perform system tasks associated with DMX to VMAX migrations, server configuration compliance, and operations management. Ø Coordinate with the Unix Operational team and Storage Operations team to assist with DMX Migrations Ø Work with VxVM, LVM, PPE, and multiple Unix environments to report on risk assessment of migration Ø Collect EMC Grabs/EMC Reports and coordinate with team to define remediation process Skills needed: Ø Good working knowledge of Solaris and Linux Ø Should understand process of Data migration well. Ø Understands Native multipathing on Solaris/Linux Ø Knows VXVM & LVM Ø Knows EMC Grabs/Heat very well and remediation process. Ø Good knowledge of Powerpath. Ø Knowledge of EMC storage arrays a plus.
