I thinks it's a time to increase your softlimit.

 Hi,

 We've put together a perl module that provides access to almost all of
 the C API for ClamAV. For example:

Hi,

there is (yet) undocumented but very useful feature in libclamav that
allows db dir monitoring:

initialization:
struct cl_stat dbstat;
cl_statinidir(dbdir, dbstat);

verification:
if(cl_statchkdir(dbstat) == 1) {
reload_the_database;
reinitialize_dbstat:
cl_statfree(dbstat);
cl_statinidir(dbdir, dbstat);
}

Also: could you please create a patch for amavisd-new that uses your
module ? (It should handle db changes).

[Clamav-users] CVS....

2003-10-17 Thread Stewart MacLund
Interesting.

$ clamscan -V
clamscan / ClamAV version 20030829
frantic:/usr/local/src/clamav-devel
$ clamd -V
clamd / ClamAV version 20030829

I seem to be having the same issue. I am using the anonymous server, with
a standard configure/make/make install dance, with no errors.

And it seems to be running fine, detecting the eicar test virus and
rejecting accordingly.

[Clamav-users] Re: Instalacion de qmailscanner + clamav

2003-10-17 Thread nacho

SaludosNacho- Original Message

bien. Saludos . Carlos

[Clamav-users] trashscan Vs clamdscan --mbox

2003-10-17 Thread Christopher X. Candreva

Searching the archvies, it seems I've only seen trashscan suggested as the
way to use clamav from procmail. I initially tried to set it up as a
milter, but after running into many permissions problems I decided to try
procmail, at least to test.

Trashscan seems to invoke a lot of othe programs though, whereas the --mbox
option to clamscan looks fairly simple, and has scanned everything I've
thrown at it. Does trashscan to anything --mbox doesn't ? If not, this
simple procmail rule has worked very well for me in tests:

VIRUS=`/usr/local/bin/clamdscan --mbox --disable-summary --stdout  -`

:0:
* VIRUS ?? FOUND
Virus
