Correct. Sorry, it was my fault.

You were absolutely correct. I uninstalled clamav and the rc.clamav
file and indeed the error remained.

Yes i do - for Claws-Mail to automatically scan emails and attachments.

Thanks a lot for that good idea; i'll memorize it for - eventual other
troubles ;)

(I'm new to slackware, so, for me, it's the other way around,
obviously: i came there because of systemd troubles which comprimzed the
setup of one of my machines - a linux hostic samsung laptop ;) )

I guess, in the dark, there might be timing problems while the system
is waiting for the return value of the daemon. (I can break it in any
case by ctrl+z and go thru to start X)

Sorry for that. I don't know how. Even though, now it's only
theoretical: It would be good to know: Could i attach something to a
mail to the list?

In any case: Thanks a lot for your patience and for the good points! :D

Another thing to remember is that shadowserver’s feed is not 100% malicious.
So keep that in mind.

Except you have to pay to submit your engine to the test. Which is why our
engine is not on there. We prefer to spend our money in different areas.

Not saying we’d be number one, either.
