[Clamav-users] [main.cvd] Issues when both main.cvd and main.inc are available

Everyone,

I'm hoping someone knows a quick solution.
If main.cvd and main.inc are installed, the signatures seem to double
themselves.
daily.cvd is also installed; but the files goes away with the first
update.

Any idea on how to get freshclam to automatically/manually update to
get rid of main.cvd like daily.cvd?

Thanks,
James

Remove the main.inc directory and run freshclam.
Freshclam should then re-create a main.inc directory and
remove the main.cvd.
Also make sure the user freshclam runs as (often clamav, but
maybe someone else) owns the database directory and all the
files in it.
