Hi, It's almost as if just one of the clamav mirrors is frequently blocking or rejecting just one of my machines, and I can't figure out why. It's always the same machine of mine, and the same mirror.
I've got four nearly identically configured servers, all running identical installations of clamav-0.90.2 jaguar.misty.com [198.137.254.139] monster.misty.com [198.137.254.141] panther.misty.com [198.137.254.71] marvin.misty.com [71.246.8.99] Each machine has an hourly crontab like this, though with different minute specifications, like this: 9 * * * * /opt/bin/freshclam --quiet monster frequently fails the updates, but the other machines never seem to have any trouble. I've tried changing which minute past the hour monster does it's updates, but no change. Usually the messages look like this: ERROR: getfile: daily-3331.cdiff not found on remote server (IP: 64.142.100.50) ERROR: getpatch: Can't download daily-3331.cdiff from db.us.clamav.net And sometimes like this: ERROR: getfile: daily-3291.cdiff not found on remote server (IP: 64.142.100.50) ERROR: getpatch: Can't download daily-3291.cdiff from db.us.clamav.net ERROR: getfile: daily-3291.cdiff not found on remote server (IP: 209.8.31.195) ERROR: getpatch: Can't download daily-3291.cdiff from db.us.clamav.net None of the other machines fail the updates, just monster, and mostly with 64.142.100.50. Is it possible 64.142.100.50 has somehow blacklisted one of my IPs? If so, why, and what can I do about it? Mark -- Mark G.
