Hi! the first of all is do a felicitation about your product clamav and
work about it, and sorry my english.
I´m readin the information , faqs, html, man, etc but i dont see solution
for my question
My question.
I am using clamav 0.92 for scan mail from smtp servers, I would like
configure clamav with policies, for example, when a attachment with .zip
extension in a file mail is scaned by clamav and clamav say that is virus
i would like delete attachment but no the mail modifing the mail writing
a message the attached with name x has been delete for example, and
for example when a attachement with .doc extension in a file mail is
scaned by clamav and clamav say that is is virus i would like delete all
te mail file.
I think this is not a job for clamav, but a job for your MTA.
In Exim, for example, I think it would be sensible to reject the message
[that might persuade the virus that your domain is not a good target], but
perhaps to then generate another message to the recipient saying someone
address sent you a message with subject subject, but we rejected it
because we think it may have contained a virus.
I am reading de clamav.conf file and the official documentation in the web
but i dont see information about this.
Can you see me if this solution can be implemented ? where i see example
or documentation about this?
I Repeat; thanks and sorry my english.
