Hi

  I think you should RTM.

 This is the issue i have complained about several times.

And I agree.
Please remove DisableDefaultScanOptions COMLETELY.
This is a source of trouble for any kind of user.

Just make the configuration accept lines of the form:
option value

Such as:
ScanMail On
ScanMail Off

etc.

And have defaults for everything.


So users using empty files (or comments only) will get the defaults.
And changing any default will not interfer with other settings.

I once had the trouble that I wanted to disable ScanMail, but disabling it
forced me to set a lot of otherwise default options myself.
VERY unintuitive.

I like clamav a lot, but I think this is a MAJOR problem.

There is no senseful reason whatsoever for such an option as
DisableDefaultScanOptions.
