cake new does work. I had run cake new in the wrong place before, so I am rebuilding the tree. Problem solved for now. Before getting too far along, I'd like to set up my project the way I've seen other projects' configurations, like clj-http and clojure- csv. I can build my project, but it is not set up in the standard way.
