Hey guys,
If you guys are interested you can look at the Screenweaver Project.
Screenweaver is basically a Netscape wrapper housing the Flash Player, and
GTK is
used for embedding and event mechanisms. (Netscape wrapper is old, XEmbed is
the current technology to play with and Webkit should support it)
The exciting part is there is a Neko VM wrapper also so you can extend the
functionality in C level quite easily. This is a Adobe AIR killer in that
respect.
I would love to see Screenweaver or the Flash Player working inside a
Clutter object.

Hi David,
Well no, I never got around it. My guess is that it works, but for what
I remember at that time, webkit is rendered on a cairo context which is
displayed inside a cluttertexture, it is somewhat like that. So IMHO
you can't play high definition videos for instance.

Hi Mike,
I am David Espinola, from Barcelona, and I've read that you post a
message some time ago about if it was possible play flash inside
clutter-webkit. I have also the same problem that you had and I was
wondering if you already got an answer.

Hi,
I didn't try to play flash inside a clutter-webkit browser? Has
anyone feedback on this? Does it need a gamer machine? :p
Thanks
Mike
