It seems to be here:

Note that CDash is processing the XML files asynchronously therefore it

Re: [CMake] E-Mail Notification of CDash is not working anymore

Hi Gerhard,

Can you check that the Repository Credentials associated with the user
for a given project is matching the git commits information (email I
suppose)?

Hi

I'm actually not sure since when this is broken, but I'm pretty sure
that it worked already.

Actually I'm using CDash 2.2.3.

When I configure the project susbcription to send emails on

when my checkins are causing problems in any sections of the dashboard

and notification in the user settings to email checkins I don't get
any email when a new commit breaks the build.

If I change email checkins to all emails then I get emails. So email
sending works in general.

However, most developers want to get emails only for the commits which
they have broken, and not for all emails.

The git commits contains correct author information with email, so
that's not the problem.

Any ideas what could be missing in the configuration?

or is this maybe a known bug?

Re: [CMake] Fwd: my.cdash.org problems

2015-01-12 Thread Julien Jomier

Hi Robert,

Regarding your questions:

1) You should use the following CTEST_DROP_LOCATION:

  set(CTEST_DROP_LOCATION /submit.php?project=Safe+Numerics)

2) For the free version of hosted cdash, the builds are deleted every 30
days. That's why you will not be able to see the builds submitted 211
days ago.

Hope that helps,
Julien

Subject: [CMake] my.cdash.org problems
Date: Sun, 11 Jan 2015 12:21:46 -0700 (MST)
From: Robert Ramey ra...@rrsd.com
To: cmake@cmake.org

I want to show all the tests run in the past year. For this I use the URL
Safe Numerics Dashboard
http://my.cdash.org/index.php?project=Safe+Numericsfiltercount=1showfilters=1field1=buildstarttime/datecompare1=83value1=1%20year%20ago

So far so good. But I have a number of problems:

a) when I run the experimental target on my Cmake setup, I get an error
message:

Uploaded:
/Users/robertramey/WorkingProjects/safe_numerics_gcc-4.8.1/Testing/20150111-1903/Test.xml

Errors occurred during submission.
Errors while running CTest
make[3]: *** [CMakeFiles/Experimental] Error 8
make[2]: *** [CMakeFiles/Experimental.dir/all] Error 2
make[1]: *** [CMakeFiles/Experimental.dir/rule] Error 2
make: *** [Experimental] Error 2

my CTestConfig.cmake is:

set(CTEST_PROJECT_NAME Safe Numerics)
set(CTEST_NIGHTLY_START_TIME 01:00:00 UTC)

set(CTEST_DROP_METHOD http)
set(CTEST_DROP_SITE my.cdash.org)
# set(CTEST_DROP_LOCATION /cdash/submit.php?project=MyProject)
set(CTEST_DROP_LOCATION /index.php?project=Safe+Numerics)
set(CTEST_DROP_SITE_CDASH TRUE)

What do I have to do make this work and add another line to my test
dashboard?

b)when I log in to http://my.cdash.org I get a screen with a simple message

No update data as of Sunday, January 11 2015 - 00:00 EST
211 days ago: 13 tests not run on Darwin-clang++
211 days ago: 10 warnings introduced on Darwin-clang++

which OK. BUT I don't see how to get the display I get to above which
shows
all the test results for the past year. How do I get there?

Robert Ramey

Re: [CMake] Fwd: cdash timing database

2013-08-06 Thread Julien Jomier

Hi Mathias,

The test timing results are stored in the 'testmeasurement' table which
contains for each test the 'WallTime' and 'CPUTime'.

For CDash related questions, please post to the cd...@public.kitware.com
mailing list.

Thanks,

Hi!

Since the test timing results as shown on cdash are stored in a
database, I was wondering if I could manually extract them from the
database. In which tables are these results stored? Or more generally,
what should I do to get the raw tests timing out of the database?

Thanks!
Mathias

Hi Jupiter,

It sounds like a browser compatibility issue. Can you tell me which web
browser you are using to access my.cdash.org?

Thanks,
Julien

Hi,

I was able to run ctest -D Experimental and to submit test report from VTK
build process. Now I am setting up my own test project in
http://my.cdash.org, and hope to run ctest on my own source code and to
submit to my project in my.cdash.org.

I guess there are two ways to display results on cdash, (1) to run ctest on
my build machine, just as I did from VTK package; (2) cdash automatically
pulls results from my build machine, this is where I have to set up url on
cdash project. Please correct me it it is wrong. Anyway, I only need to
submit my test results to cdash in (1) method, not (2).

While I was creating my project in my.cdash.org, I filled in with all
information and clicked button Next Step, it just could not move to next
step and stuck in Project Logo page and failed to create my project in
my.cdash.org. Appreciate any helps.

Thank you.

Kind regards,

Jupiter

Re: [CMake] Fwd: Submitting to CDash fails with error 417

Dear Gerhard,

My guess is that your server is not supporting HTTP PUT protocol. I
believe you have to explicitly enable the protocol for lighttpd.

Let us know if that was the problem,

Hi all,

I've setup CDash locally using lighttpd and created a test project
helloworld.

I configured CTestConfig.txt to find my local CDash.
When I now run make Nightly submitting the results fails.

Did I forget some configuration? Maybe authentification options?
Or does CDash just not work with lighttpd?

CTestConfig.cmake:
## This file should be placed in the root directory of your project.

Re: [CMake] [Cdash] Cdash setup questions (was RE: Trouble starting ctest run with intention of reporting to dashboard)

2009-06-10 Thread Julien Jomier
Sounds like a bug in the links not being escaped, could you report a bug
at www.cdash.org/Bug?

Thanks,
Julien

So, there are probably a handful or two of places in the CDash code
where a project name is assumed to be space-free... There is a CDash
mailing list, too. (I've cc'ed it here...) Perhaps an entry in the CDash
bug tracker is in order.

However, for now, to get up and running quickly, I'd encourage you to
rename your project to QpidCpp without any escape-ish type characters
in it. The project name in CDash, the PROJECT statement in your top
level CMakeLists.txt file and the CTEST_PROJECT_NAME value in
CTestConfig.cmake should all match each other exactly, case included.

David

Ok, we're in business now...

I'm not sure why this was not working before, but... THANKS!

I have to say, cdash is totally cool - I'm very impressed.

Now for a few (small) issues/questions:

- How do I set the Build Name (I guessed at CTEST_BUILD, but no.)
- I set up a project named Qpid C++ and I can submit to it using
submit.php?project=Qpid%20C%2B%2B but from the My Projects list of
projects I can't click on Qpid C++ because the link isn't escaped.
Before I dive into the source and see, is there a reason this can't
work?

Thanks,

-Steve

You should be able to now.

  Yup.

Here is how you run it:

  hoff...@corrin ~/Projects/qpid/qpid/cpp
  $ cat myscriptnew.cmake
  set (CTEST_SOURCE_DIRECTORY c:/hoffman/Projects/qpid/qpid/cpp)
  set (CTEST_BINARY_DIRECTORY c:/hoffman/Projects/qpid/qpid/cpp/rhel5)
  SET(CTEST_CMAKE_GENERATOR Unix Makefiles)
  SET(CTEST_BUILD_COMMAND make)
  set(CTEST_SITE Kitware)
  CTEST_START(Experimental)
  CTEST_CONFIGURE(BUILD ${CTEST_BINARY_DIRECTORY})
  CTEST_BUILD(BUILD ${CTEST_BINARY_DIRECTORY})
  CTEST_TEST(BUILD ${CTEST_BINARY_DIRECTORY})
  CTEST_SUBMIT()

  hoff...@corrin ~/Projects/qpid/qpid/cpp
  $ /cygdrive/c/Program\ Files/CMake\ 2.6/bin/ctest.exe -S
  myscriptnew.cmake -VV

  And here is the build:
  http://www.riverace.com/CDash-1.4.2/viewConfigure.php?buildid=17
