Summary:                    bootstrap fails on OS X 10.10.5 (Yosemite)
Description: 
Below is the tail of the output from running "./bootstrap --prefix=${PWD}" on OS
X 10.10.5 (Yosemite).  The same command completes successfully on Linux
(Lubuntu).
