Stus-List History of C "Pelagic"

2016-02-02 Thread robert via CnC-List

Mike:

There was a boat at the RNSYS called 'Pelagic'I remember the
nameI don't remember if it was a C but I think it was.I recall
the boat had a 'reverse transom'. I will ask around the club and see
what I can find out and get back to you.

Might help if you can tell me who you bought the boat from.

Hi guys. I am wondering if any of you in the Halifax area know the
history of my C I bought the boat in Lunenburg in 2013; it was
named “Pelagic”.
I know that the boat was in the Halifax area for quite a few years
before that and someone hinted that it may once have been damaged in a
hurricane or storm but this was not disclosed to me by the seller. I
know the pulpit was repaired and possibly some gelcoat on the port
side. If anybody can recall anything about this boat going aground or
being damaged, I would appreciate hearing from you. Sail #73. Having
said that, she is in great shape, and sails very well, I’m really
pleased with it.

Stus-List C 37 Plus Nameplates Complete

2016-02-02 Thread Gary Russell via CnC-List
I have finished and installed the new nameplates on High Maintenance that I
posted about a few weeks ago. They are machined out of one solid piece of
black polycarbonate on a CNC milling machine. The characters are not glued
on as in the original (to fall off). Those who are interested can view the
project on my Google Drive at:

https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0BwQRSP2fYIFmck94VnhCb1ZhVkE=sharing

If any are interested in obtaining a pair of nameplates you may contact me
off list. If you are interested in making your own, I will freely share
the AutoCAD model. However, if you decide to make them yourself you will
wind up paying the non-recurring engineering (NRE) charges that I've
already shelled out.

I know one, who is very good if you want to know about your boat, but perhaps a
bit over picky if it is insurance you seek. .
Email me privately if you want more details.
