Re: Stus-List Energy audit spreadsheet
Here is a link to two more at the Pacific Cup page, similar to the one John posted but a bit more descriptive. They only has sailing/racing and not sitting around on anchor, but it has been vetted by many. It is actually a requirement in the NOR to submit an energy plan/budget to race committee before you can start. Not sure if this requirement is unique to Pacific Cup, but a good one I believe. https://pacificcup.org/kb/energy-management On Wed, Dec 28, 2016 at 3:36 PM Joel Aronson via CnC-List < cnc-list@cnc-list.com> wrote: > John, > > That's a good start! Stus-List Boat on the Rocks in Tsehum Harbour, Sidney, BC
Anyone in Victoria know a boat called Mana Lupa? She's a Viking I think (25, 27 maybe?). On the rocks at the foot of my street (Wincott Rd) in North Saanich. I'm thinking she broke loose from her mooring in Tsehum Harbour in the storm a few days ago. Looking for the owner. Re: Stus-List Energy audit spreadsheet
John, That's a good start! I like that it has different calculations for anchoring and sailing. Thanks. Joel, here's one I found online somewhere. I can't really vouch for it. You'll just have to look it over carefully. Stus-List Energy audit spreadsheet
Happy New Year to all! I'm starting to think about adding solar panels when I get a new bimini. Does anyone have an energy audit spreadsheet they can share as a starting point? I've already switched to LEDS, so my power hogs are the refrigerator and auto-pilot. The plotter and computer/monitor, phone charging all need to be considered, but I'm sure I'm missing stuff.
