Re: Stus-List 1GM10 Repower
They are a/the diesel source and experts here (lake superior). I've visited and bought parts and received good free advice. They have a huge engine inventory, new, used, remanufactured, or parting out.Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone. What started off as top end rebuild has "progressed" into a full repower project. Given the cramped (shall we say intimate?) engine bay accommodations, i am inclined to drop in a 1gm10 reman and hopefully save some of the season. Unfortunately, i am having a bit of trouble sourcing one. The only one i've been able to find is located at Schooner Bay Marina Wisconsin; full rebuild with 1-year warranty. For anyone who have been through a similar experience - any suggestions on vendors and/or lessons learnt the hard way? Does anyone have any experience with Schooner Bay Marina? best,matt--Matthew JanssenC&C 27 MkV EduamSouth Amboy, NJ ___ Thanks everyone for supporting this list with your contributions. Hi, I have a 2QM15 Yanmar and the prop came off when I hit a log yesterday. Can anyone tell me what prop diameter I should be looking for as well as the pitch and shaft size? or where I could find that info? thanks ___ Thanks everyone for supporting this list with your contributions. So I am refinishing the table and have removed the aluminum corner pieces to re-paint. As the original paint is in fairly good shape with only bits of bare aluminum, still need primer? Preferred top coat paint? And I know this subject has been beaten to death. Sorry, but a varnish recommendation for cabin sole? David F. Risch, J. D.
