Re: Stus-List Spinnaker Turtle bags
I have my sail maker custom make them for me. The issue I had with some of the standard ones was the hook and loop opening. The hooks and loops faced the wrong way in my opinion. I wanted the opening to pull apart rather than be overlapping. Dennis C. Re: Stus-List Spinnaker Turtle bags
Are these bags (as well as their sails) made in the USA or in Asia? I had UK/Charleston make 3 of these (same design) for Honey. They work well but take up a great deal of space. Re: Stus-List Spinnaker Turtle bags
That looks just like the bag I purchased from my sailmaker for my 1300 sq. ft. A-sail and sock. Works very well for launching from the foredeck. My bag is XL size, but I think the L would have been adequate. Much easier to handle the sail in a sock than a turtle bag, but the rectangular bag is larger. I ended up storing it on the cabin sole in the corner formed by mast. Table, forward bulkhead, and the port settee. Cost was about the same from my sailmaker.
