Mike, I'd check with Doug Miller at http://www.milltechmarine.com He's a sailor, a good guy and very well connected in the electronics/ais market. He' will be more knowledgeable and helpful than just about anybody at West, etc Fair prices too. No business connection, but sailing friend. He only carries a couple products. I got my AIS gear from him. They have receivers, Class B, and Class A gear. See my previous links.
