Re: Stus-List Indicator lights for breaker panel

2015-09-17 Thread Joel Aronson via CnC-List
Jim,

I have same 12 volt panel, but my 120 volt panel has larger amber lights.

The red lights on the 12 volt panel are all on a single circuit board.
Luckily only the top one failed so far, so I was able to remove the corner
of the board. The 1/4 inch light fit, but now I need to find the little
clips that look like speed nuts to hold the light in place.

The 120 volt lights have the clips on them.

Joel,

I replaced all of my panel lights about 7 years ago with LEDs and had to order
a larger quantity than I needed so still have extras. I have about 20 of the
120 volt and about 12 of the 12 volt. You’re welcome to them if you’d like,
just let me know.

My 120 volt lights are 5/16 diameter, my 12 v lights are 1/4 inch diameter but
are soldered. Luckily I only need 2 reds, so not too many crimps.

thanks for the digikey link. Prices are all over the place!

Put in the diameter you need and see what comes up.

Once you identify a manufacturer you may be able to find the same part
cheaper elsewhere.

You might try Paneltronics, they are in Florida.
Doug MountjoysvPegasusLF38 just west of Ballard, WA.

Indicator lights for breaker panel
Where can I find indicator lights for my breaker panels?  The Blue Sea
connectors are too small (11/64).  All of the 120 volt panel lights need to be
replaced as do several 12 volt lights.

Put in the diameter you need and see what comes up.

Once you identify a manufacturer you may be able to find the same part
cheaper elsewhere.

My 120 volt lights are 5/16 diameter, my 12 v lights are 1/4 inch diameter
but are soldered. Luckily I only need 2 reds, so not too many crimps.

thanks for the digikey link. Prices are all over the place!

I bought LED's from Paneltronics. They fit nicely into the little rings and
are held in place with a dab of silicone on the back.
Strangely enough, Paneltronics were by far the cheapest source I found,
including big suppliers like Mouser.
