Sea water overflowing the bowl probably means that there is a siphon between the head and the though hull (or worse). Replacing the pump just delays sinking until it fails. The two solutions are a high loop with a siphon break or one can (as I do) always close the through-hull when finished your ablutions. Just say'n.
