Just make sure the Gap that you have works for the space that gasket takes up. The great thing about the silicone, is that it never takes a set. Regarding those fans, Dennis I think, posted a link to some tiny ass little fans that he had in his icebox. I bought a couple, but have not installed them yet. Big surprise. But you don't need even a small computer fan for something as tiny as the icebox. These little tiny ones are probably like 2 in. And also take next to nothing in amperage Bill On Sat, Mar 27, 2021, 10:31 AM Jim Reinardy via CnC-List < cnc-list@cnc-list.com> wrote: > Bill, > > Thanks, that is in stock locally, I will go take a look. We put some stick-on weatherstripping that essentially looks like two rows of hollow rubber half-round material in white. That helped, but we were still getting frost buildup on the plate. Finally, I used 1 and a half tubes of mildew resistant latex caulk to seal the underside of where the countertop and lid attach to the inner fridge box. Immediately, the frosting went away, and now I keepthe temperaturein the fridgeat about35 degrees. I've also had a very small laptop computer muffin fan running that helps stabilize the temperature, but it did nothing to stop freezing on the plate. Wire in a small computer muffin fan to circulate air. Cold and hot spots disappear. Sent from my Android. Please forgive typos. Thank you. One question for the group tonight. My refrigerator ices up quickly in one corner every season, so I suspect I need to find a way to get a better seal. Has anyone found a source for a good gasket material for refrigerator doors? I see a lot of the magnetic kind found on household refrigerators, but that doesn’t seem to be what I need.
