Hi Stu,

Just wanted to thank you for tonight's zoom meeting. It was fun to see fellow
C'ers and JohnKelly's show and tell.
Interesting to see that big tow model of Evergreen and the sailing dinghy,
Water Rat, and hear his stories about his Dad.

Thanks Stu for taking the time to do these Zoom meetings and I hope everyone
gets a chance to join one and meet other owners and share their unique stories.
 It's a great community.

Sorry, I should ask if that you do download the GHC pre C binder that you do
not distribute the PDF further. I’m updating the PDF on occasion so I’d like
people to always get the newest version. So if you want to please go right
ahead and pass the link along.

Also it’s a huge file so really not easily emailable.

Thanks for letting me ramble on last night.

I touched on the Water Rat in my shed which I claim was the first production
fiberglass sailboat in Canada, over 80 built

The Evergreen tank test model sitting next to her. One of 5, the other known
one is at Bluffer Park Marina as their bar. Stored with me on it's way from
the Royal Hamilton Yacht Club to the Marine Museum of the Great Lakes when they
are ready to receive her

Then the paperwork. I explained how Dad kept copies of everything ( and
sometimes in triplicate ) in Binders. I've scanned some of the binders and
will make them available. Binder one is Pre C 1944 - 1969. Which actually
begins in 1929 with Dad's birth announcement, letter from his father about how
he should give up on his idea of being a marine architect at the age of 12,
etc.

At the moment the Binders consist of:

Pre C 1944-1969

C 1969 - 1982

Post C #1

Post C #2

Job Index CNC - C 1950 - 1972

GHC HIC Slides Binder

Photos #3 Binder

yet to be discovered

And then I took a breath.

So as promised, wait, I'm going to surprise those in attendance think I'm
releasing the slide binder first, but instead please find the link to where it
all began, the Pre C 1944-1969 binder.

Sorry I missed it! By the time I remembered, it was 45 minutes in and I was
fighting with rivets trying to install conduit in my mast... The job is
mostly done now. I also discovered that one of my headsail halyards was on
the wrong side of the upper shroud compression tube, and had sawn a nice
groove into it. It's probably from the old wire halyards, and must have
been that way for years. It will be pulled back in correctly...
