The good news: Not only is my leak fixed, I think they just sent me a new compass. I cannot identify any part that doesn't look brand new. If it lasts another 50 years I will be happy. The ??? news: The light is green instead of red. I am not sure I like this, I will have to see how it goes. The bad news: I am not 100% sure it will mount without some effort, It is not obvious if it has the same screw holes.
